I presume you mean Waterloo Mersey not London (Class 503 actually)

If you know it is a 503 you can work out which lines it is on too, if you know which ones they worked on.

And needless to say I did mean the Waterloo north of Liverpool. But so much for what I said about the difference, so I guess it's off to the Wirral!

When this photo was taken 507s operated one line (or group of lines) and 503s the other. The 508s were yet to arrive from the South Western Division of the Southern region minus one of the centre cars. There were placed in new 455s and this is the one that is smaller in the current fleet.
