It is indeed Stafford. Pic taken from Platform 5 to the storage cupboards on Platform 4. There used to loads of these signs around until they had some recoration done and only a couple had reappeared at the time I took this photo.

Simon Poole will be kicking himself for this one I suspect!

Ah, I was getting there...but have got distracted by the thread about Insch station :P

And Simon - I told you you'd kick yourself at it!!! You'll have to look next time you are there - they are at the bottom of the steps on at least platforms 4 and 5, but maybe 3 and 6 as well. Failing that, should we meet next week, I'll point them out then :P
