I can postively rule out Tunbridge Wells West as it had five platforms and a very large grand station building now converted to a burger restaurant..!

The station in question looks like Great Northern Railway architecture although I cannot yet identify it. Perhaps ole man can give us a clue by saying yes or no to a GNR station

Seriously, I have missed this thread. I have collated plenty of ammunition for you all during my absence, including some from areas no-one on here (with possibly one exception in Neil AH; not sure) knows I have been to.

Back to the picture at hand, scrub my shot at Abercynon. I'm pretty sure the built up part is in the wrong place. I'm not sure what else to suggest though; I do wonder if Ruabon is right.

It has a hourly service xx.30, and was renamed in 1974 to it's current name
