It's not Southeastern. Nor is it actually physically on the loop that it sees services to.

I am beginning to realise that it is not SWT - I just recognised the LDB and route map sign and jumped to conclusions :(

Still can't think of where it could be.

So as well as not being FGW, SWT or SE*, I'll through the fact that it's not Southern as well, for free.

Which leaves... :D

*NB, it is served by SE in a way, sorry, forgot...

I'm not convinced it is SWT, there is no orange anywhere. It certainly is not on the Hounslow or Kingston loops, nor is it on the Shepperton branch. I don't recognise it and my route knowledge extends over the SWT metro area except south of Epsom.

Loughborough Junction?

I missed this, did it change at any point?

Yes, Loughborough Jn.

EDIT: Checked through my history, Matt T's post originally read Bromley North.

I put Bromley Nth but there was a posting written while I wrote mine, when I saw it I revised my choice to Bromley Nth.

I'm not at home so I can't post a new picture anyway......!

Just a question. Is this quiz aimed at people who've visited virtually every station on the network? Surely there should be something in the photo which allows someone who has a modicum of general railway knowledge to have some clue about where it is.

Generally speaking, but the cropping here is hiding what I think is a distinctive feature (or at least for those who use Quail Maps!) ;)

I've visited very few stations in comparison to others so most of my guesses are based on some railway knowledge and by process of elimination.

The thread has been this way for most of its life. When I first started posting on it it was simply a case of chasing where everyone else was headed :D. I for one have certainly not been to most of the stations mentioned on this thread. There are other ways...

And from the clue Matt has just dropped I'm thinking some kind of junction or extra platform.

Btw everyone, "floor open" means anyone can post, it doesn't always have to be someone else (say, perhaps, me) who has already posted a couple that day. /rant

Here you are.:)
