I was there on Wednesday! It is quite depressing, and you have to walk a fair way through pretty tacky surroundings to get to the town, which is full of chavs once you get to it. The station is nice in its own unique way though.

47841 burst on the return journey from the first trip. My train 1000 Liverpool St - Great Yarmouth cancelled at Norwich. Now carrying out plan B. Or is that C because we should have been on the Pathfinder tour which was also cancelled.

I am beginning to wonder about this thread. Is it really for those people who've visited every station and would recognise each one by sight, or should the photos actually contain some clue that would help someone who'd never been to the station in question? For instance, a train, something in the background (cathedral or castle), a remarkable station building or a building style common on a particular line, and so on? I'm afraid just showing a photo of a "bus shelter" isn't going to be much help.

It's a hard one really. between us, the top five posters have probbaly covered every station in the UK. Othersz will have only covered one area, but we need to balance it out between those who are good with this sort of thing, and those who aren't. I'll put up a more useful picture soon.

I will keep riding round East Anglia until I find it. Covered Lowestoft - Ipswich and Felixstowe branch and I don't think I have seen it yet.

Ipswich - Bury Street Edmunds - Ely next.
