Sitting on a train beside a platform. Hence the yellow line in the bottom corner.
May I remind you that a guess at a station name gets a clue.
Clapham Junction
(I'll get my coat)

More seriously somewhere on the Settle-Carlisle line.
Of note is the new platform surface with modern drainage BUT all on a period bridge.

I want it to be a Northern station, but finding one closer to Clapham Junction than Settle is proving a problem.

Definitely somewhere on the Great Northern/FCC network....

Letchworth Garden City?
Sorry but your certainty is misplaced as it isn’t Letchworth and isn’t on the GN/FCC.

However, Letchworth and this place may have both had the same paint scheme under the initial swathe of franchises…

Hmm, interesting.

The brickwork seems to suggest down near London with that yellow colour, its fairly rural and there is a norman style church which looks like it is potentially clad in flint in the background, which suggests we are in the land of chalk somewhere...

Recap:
Clapham Junction - no
Settle-Carlisle line - no, Clapham Junction closer
Dilton Marsh - getting colder now
Northern Trains - no
Great Northern/FCC network....Letchworth Garden City - no, and no, but Letchworth may have had the same paint scheme in the 'initial swathe of franchises'
Staines - no, and not SWR, note magenta/pink 'Gents' sign
Thorpe Bay - closest so far.

The Magenta/Pink branding suggests c2c

Tilbury Town?
