It looks nothing like Berkhamsted?!

I think it's Weeley.

Taken from SME (or SMD if you are a certain Admin ;)) it is indeed Weeley. You can trace the file name SME gives you, so I just change it to the name of a station and see how many people fall for it. Three and counting!

Makes me think somewhere on the Oldham Loop

Good luck with finding photos of an Oldham Loop station on NRE ;)

It's definitely Northern land though, the lamppost is identical to the one down Cherry Tree (and Mill Hill, Blackburn, Plessy, Bamber Bridge.........).

Godley?

Is Capybara's steam locomotive pair at the old Harrogate? That sort of loco was used heavily around York and Leeds on the locals wasn't it? Harrogate being the most substantial station on the indirect line between the two seems a logical place for a first guess...

Once again, open floor in the unlikely chance of my being correct.

We didn't win the quiz but we were close

And Harrogate is bang on. The old southbound bay platforms which is now car parking.

Looks like the side entrance to Wallasey Grove Road but the Lampost is in Northern colours I think :(
