The lamposts suggest either former ATN or Welsh land. There is some form of automated level crossing beyond the station. My initial feeling is Whitby branch, if so the Ruswarp fits the bill with the crossing so I'll try that.

Hmm, bullhead rail, so the line's not been relaid since 1950-odd. Double-track, and in regular use judging by the sheen. Can't see the station buildings very well, but the houses look relatively northern.
