OK, it's all gone rather quiet now, so what I'm proposing as a minor deviation to the thread is a sweep stake on the most frequent station to have been appeared for guessing on this thread.

For a clue; this station is located in an urban area and is electrified, although not all of the lines passing through it are suitable for electric traction.
