That canopy is like the one at Rochdale, although it obviously isn't.

TPE departure boards and semaphore signalling leave me agreeing with Ryan's guess of Barrow.

I wouldn't call it a guess, it was more a case of trawl internet to find photos of train in photo (153 331), before I eventually stumbled across Track Basher's personal site and found the exact same photo, talking about a 17.43 Barrow to Lancaster train, which run's pretty much non-stop.

Good lord TB. Are we the only ones both posting only our own pictures and not using the interweb to find the answers??

I tend to use my own too :)
I will admit to using Wiki to try find possibilities and follow routes...so I'd advise against posting pictures from Wikipedia as I suspect I may not be the only person who does it :P

And of course TB posts his online on his own site as well! I've only posted a handful of mine online (in the gallery on this Forum), so I'm safe!

I can't help laughing when I see that people have uploaded their photographs directly from their Flickr account and consequently forgotten to remove the traceable image codes!

I do use my own photos but pickings are now slim. You will find some of the photos on my photo site but I do change the file names. I actually don't think barrow was that difficult.

You could have just used the link below to get to the photos but where would the challenge be? Those on the web are not all my photos though. I only put the decent ones up and some of the ones I use on here are not good enough.
