Indeed it's in the ROI as those are the old Irish Mk3 intercity sets. No idea where it is though.

If it's ROI it isn't strictly allowed. I'm sure TB or 4SRKT would get it though. Otherwise... I'm stumped...

Edgworthstown.

We've had loads of Republic photos on this thread. That rule's been reached and breached long ago!

Wooh! Shows what Wikipedia can do for someone who has never been closer to Ireland than Aberystwyth!

Here's another one of Geograph to ease us into today...

We have a 313 under the wires. That suggests NLL.
The opposite platform has a signal for a wrong line departure with a feather. Therefore, I believe that this is Gospel Oak. Open floor.

The bus stops have Roundels, so we must be in Greater London. I presume that it is a staircase down to the platforms, so it must be subteranean. It doesn't look like an LT deap level station. Beyon dthat, I havenot a clue. Barbican?

I could work out loosely where it was by the stock. The building looked familiar. I have been to Gospel Oak specifically to scoop the crossover controlled by the signal I mentioned, so it was the logical answer to give. As for the speed, it's just down to when I logged on.

I totally agree, I followed your explanation! I should have cropped more...

Not Barbican.

City Thameslink was built in about the right era for the architecture, so we'll have a pop at that. Open floor if I get any right today, I may be able to post one tomorrow night.

Very close.

I can't help but notice my 24 hour post count is still hovering above 100...

You could cheat like me and post a picture off the internet <D?

Farringdon (maybe a new entrance)?

I'm in exam season, so don't want to monitor a picture in case it lasts a while.

Sorry about the delay on my part. As far as I can see, no-one has called mine right so far.

But I have a serious problem in that my laptop battery and/or power unit has seemingly died, which is severely limiting my Internet access - and rendering me unable to access my pictures, courtesy of them being on there and on an SD card (I have no means of accessing the data on an SD card besides my camera and my laptop).

So, sorry about that. I shall reveal the answer to mine, and if someone has called it then fair play to them: Windsor & Eton Riverside.

Thanks Ivo. I don't think there was anyway we were going to get that without tons of clues! I think I've been coming to the conclusion that clues early on is the way forward for this thread.

Here's another one for the afternoon.

The lamposts suggest this is Anglia-ish. There are DOO mirrors, which places it south of Ipswich (I'm not sure whether any Great Eastern EMUs have guards these days, but all the hauled sets do. Ingatestone?

You're scarily good, but it's not Ingatestone.
