So first people thought it was in Northern Ireland, which it wasn't. And now you're predicting it's Welsh. So much for continuity...

Any last guesses then?

OK; open floor. I'll leave this one in limbo. Come back to it next time it's my turn.

I started off with Ireland due to your recent trip and couldn't think of many stations in the UK with a white and black paint scheme. Some of the ones I suggested from NI seemed to have a similar scheme, but it's all been a big coincidence.

Anywhoo....

There's a Sainsburys in the background. The shelter is in colours similar to the ones used by FCC. Looks like a two platform station, but I'm going to next to see some others guess first before I make my move!

It is/was a supermarket in the background. Not necessarily Sainsbury's.

Not Barnsley either.

I'm sure it's a Sainsburys. The brickwork, the poster, it has to be. But this isn't guess the supermarket, so I'll have a stab at Chapeltown.

I think Sainsbury's might now be in charge of the store, but it seems to have changed hands a couple of times from what I can gather :D New supermarket thread anyone?

Not Chapeltown. You're still in the wrong part of the North.

It's a trophy of some kind. I thought the FA Vase at first, but if it was there wouldn't be elderly women in the background and it would be a football pitch!

I don't know to be honest. But if Barnsley et al are "the wrong part of the north" then we are looking at the north nonetheless! How about Brampton?

Mine is not Newport. Feel free to guess it while Paul's is in play, but his comes first at the moment.

Having done a little research, I'm not sure about this but we'll see. Windermere?

There was a station I was going to say before Brampton, and actually the research indicates that it could well be the answer... D'oh.

Not Windermere - still not the right part of the North. So what's up next?

I just found that! <(

If ainsworth leaves the floor open, as he usually does, I'm reintroducing my shot from last night. If not, I apologise for jumping the gun!

Either way, here's the picture again, so you can have another gander at it.

No guesses as yet? "Bristol area" isn't a guess. And is wrong anyway.

And check Guess the Train as well; see if you can determine my blighter over there...
