Something for MattE, our apparent staffing expert: When you go over to NI, pay particular attention at City Hospital. Would you agree that it should have a staffed presence? If Botanic does (probably for Uni purposes), why not it? Also, thank you for that link you sent me ;)

I'll take a look when I'm over there (does anyone know where to find station info for the North - Translink's website is horrific!), the building atop the stairs does loom like a booking office though...

You're welcome, looks like Hazelhatch didn't move!

There is no booking office. The building is part of the hospital. See my previous edited post for explanation of the different facilities at Botanic and City Hospital.

Although your typo of 'skip reading' was appropriate given the amount of skip bashing that has been going on in my life this week.....

The bulk of the 170 obscured most of what I saw there on Wednesday, so I couldn't be sure. I felt certain that FKK was a good call though, and so it proved! Literally two stations away from the correct answer.

On to the next pic (and yes, this has been revised and replaced with one taken literally seconds later which doesn't reflect off the window as much).

Trust me, it can.

I used to get lambasted by my politically correct friends in York for saying I could usually tell a Catholic from a Protestant in Northern Ireland on sight. They thought this was racist nonsense, but it's true: I can, so can my wife, and so can most people from Northern Ireland. To this day when someone from NI comes on the telly my (Dublin catholic) wife and I say 'prod' or 'fenian' as soon as we can!

If you say so ;)

Care to suggest a station? But surely if it was on the fairer side of the Irish Sea, you would know its location?

Ha ha, what a game that is! I'll maybe give it a go at the first old firm game next season!:D

Outside Northern Ireland and a few stations on the North Side of Dublin, I'm not that hot.

I'm not going to say anything at this stage, but out of curiosity what would you do if this station actually was in NI? Revenge for City Hospital, perhaps? ;)

You could break yourself in gently by starting with Neil Lennon.....

Some controversy in one of our depots in Scotland yesterday where some tool on the front page of the son pictured carrying a fake parcel bomb addressed to Neil Lennon turns out to be a friend of a friend of some member of our staff. Nice.

Well, if you're so sure it's in the Republic then look on the Route Coverage thread, where on the most recent post I have added an Ireland bit in the top right! Use it to determine exactly everywhere I went (you know most of it though) and start guessing...

...or just dump the whole Ireland idea. Either way, is anyone actually going to try?

@OxtedL: It's all very well you saying as much, but that's not a guess either!

Ribblehead was right, but as no station was visible it shouldn't have been put up.

As I withdrew it immediately, it doesn't stand. It's a clever way to get two go's for the price of one thoughbut........
