Here goes nothing: Cherry Tree?

Nope. This station is named after something that you'd expect to find somewhere else. The name of this station is also included in two consectutive stations many miles away but in the place you'd expect to find them.

I like that thinking, but no.

This station's name is a physical feature, commonplace elsewhere, where two stations bear them in its name.

I'll try Oxenholme Lake District. Not hopeful though!

I looked it up on the Wikipedia, and it's been home to a train crash, a shoot out involving a fugitive and police, and a murder!

Charming!

With regards to Stagecoach NW, the answer to your question is in OxetdL's signature (I think).
