The shelter looks odd. That, together with the platform edge line being yellow rather than white suggests that we are not on the mainland. The blue and white/grey colour scheme suggests NIR rather than CIE. We have a 121 3/4 milepost, which may act as some sort of clue as to rough location. I doubt that any of the internal NIR lines are 121 miles long, so we are probably on the cross border line. I suspect it is a minor station. Scarva?

Good detective work as always, except for the last bit about the milepost. I can't explain why such a high numbered milepost is on this line, as it isn't my photo. Maybe some other boffin can offer an explanation eventually.

Needless to say, it isn't Scarva.

Yes, that's the one. The only explanation for the high mileage post must be that the mileages were taken from Dublin.

It is indeed, from Connolly.

It is measured Dublin-Drogheda-Lisburn-Belfast-(Seahills)-Bangor, roughly 126 miles. Larne/Antrim are measured from 0 at York Road Yard.

Here ya go:

I've got a bad feeling that when OxtedL does his next graph, I'm going to be up there with lots of wrong guesses. Still, no harm in having a go!

I'm going to wait, see what the others think first!

I think we might be in Lancashire, due to the elongated station sign (usually has a BR logo and a Lancashire Rose). Can't place the steps though....

Salwick?

Mine!

Here's one for you all.

I'm off in 15 minutes, answer is with MattE2010 in case it's still going (which I hope it will be!)
