I suspect there is a disused side to the island. Like TB I sort of recognise it but can't quite place it. Abergavenny?

Scrap that, this is bounded by Hereford to the west and Oxford to the east and Nottingham to the north then. There is no sign of OHLE. Chippenham?

Would that make it Cheltenham?

Clearly not, but I just found this which made me chuckle.

I'm going to have to give up on this one. I bet by the time I return tomorrow there will be another ten pages of posts, and I'll almost certainly be going through them to see what station this was! :)

Ah give it another 5 mins. Everyone is almost there, all around it!

Hmmm... has no one said Gloucester? What an oversight! Though perhaps not that much of one.

No you won't Claggy! Is is Stroud. That's the Hill Paul Building in the picture apparently.

Your pic? Couldn't see it on street view, but found this...http://www.flickr.com/photos/bazzadarambler/4540615916/. Any ideas what it's used for?

And this striking pic: http://www.flickr.com/photos/anachic/3366654166/
What with this and the census, no would could accuse me of not doing my research!

Oh yeah, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the hard working data collectors, I am sorry I have not always been among you, but these graphs don't draw themselves ;)!

Any requests?

According to Wiki:

In 2000 Stroud District Council gave permission for the Victorian landmark Hill Paul building to be demolished. After thwarting demolition, local activists formed a company and sold enough shares at £500 each to take an option on the building, which they passed on to a local developer. The building has now been restored and converted into apartments (see photo on the right).[26][27]
