Well I have no idea about stations in that area so doesn't really help me that much!

How about Oldham?

Does OxtedL actually have a life?

I do feel a bit guilty actually as I have a feeling I suggested that someone should do a audit of the thread, and joking suggested OxtedL. Didn't think they would actually do it!

Ah, you may all think it's pointless but the skills I am getting from this may help me climb the job market ... And they temporarily halt my ellipsis generation. The whole thing takes far less time than pursuits some others ... pursue, like trainz, and is far more likely to have useful applications. It's not like I'm writing the "Guess the Station" symphony here, 45 minutes of station guessing related...., yeah. Although :D.

I take it I'm the only one who likes graphs then, and I will stop for now.

Btw "do I have a life"? On a thread inhabited by rail enthusiasts? Sorry? :D

No graphs are good, more graphs!

Please

Perhaps a clue seeing as we still seem to be shooting in the dark?

I knew you'd come out with something along those lines! That was a deliberate attempt at irony :D

If we are looking west, might I suggest Meols Cop?

I do quit like graphs, to be fair. But they can be a nuisance to prepare using MS Excel, so I tend to stick to tables.

Can't see any of the actual station in that shot of Carnforth, which is a location with which I'm pretty familiar...........

Alas, at least it gave us a chance to collect our thoughts.

I have corrected the first graph btw, as I discovered excel had not coped well with dates containing "3rd" or variations on the theme of 3, misleading me into thinking that every day ending in a 3 had no posts.

Another serious lack of station on the Guess the Station thread. IPT needs to move to the Guess the Foliage thread on the BotanyUK Forums website.

Anywhere with the suffix TV has to be a strong contender for a photo from the IPT archives..........

If this was taken from a station then surely it narrows down the possible places?

Lichfield TV

It's good........but it's not right

Is there some sort of tractor beam that prevents IPT from leaving Staffordshire for more than an hour or so? ;)

Oooh, I'm not sure about that one Ivo, except to say I'm sure you didn't take it.......
