Sorry but I was enjoying that! It is indeed platform 3 at Stoke-on-Trent and the livery didn't predate the SOT extension it would seem

Ended up on that service due to an XC/VT fail meaning it was quicker to grab the stopper (until we got overtaken at Stockport anyway)
