It may be more to do with the fact that one identikit SR platform edge looks very like another, and those of us who live in parts of the country whose stations were not all built in the 1930s to the same design are just stumped by them..........

Touche. I feel the same way about a lot of stations in the north, which I get around by using street view. I expect similar dedication.

This station is distinctive in my opinion, the distinctive bit is in the picture. Then again, I don't live on the incorrect side of the Thames. [Yes, I live in the part of England where kids grow up thinking that Bedford is northern, you've probably realised].
