I'm confident that's not in England. I'm thinking Wales as well, but my knowledge of Welsh stations is pretty poor, as I've only been there via HST.

I have no idea about this one. It could be in England, it could be in Scotland. All we know is it isn't in Wales!
From the picture, it looks like it only has one platform.

That's one more clue then.

Now, just the small matter of finding every UK station with two platforms....

Hmm, so:

Two platforms.
Not IN a town or city, could be edge of a town, or more likely a village station.
Footbridge.
Hills in background so unlikely to be East Anglia, or parts of Lincolnshire.
Wall not sandstone so I'm thinking less likely to be Herefordshire, Worcestershire or Gloucestershire.
Not in Wales.
Concrete sleepers.
Not electrified AC, suppose it might conceivably be 3rd rail, can't tell.
Not Scottish Highlands.

Hmmm.

Haven't a clue really!

I'm starting to narrow thing down a bit more - it looks like somewhere ALL passenger trains stop at, as I can't see any sign of a yellow safety speed line. But that may be an erroneous assumption.

Prudhoe?

I really don't know that area :( Hopefully, within a month or so that sentiment will be history...!

100 lines: Track Basher is not a stupid person and deserves a thoroguh apology for attempting to trick your way into a clue.

...

I shan't, because (a) it would get deleted under the "Forum Tidy" rule and (b) there's no punishment in doing it on a computer because you can just paste it 99 times.

...

I assume Prudhoe was wrong? - EDIT: The Anonymous Rodent has returned and effectively confirmed as much.

How would the Cumbrian Coast station Maryport sound?
