All no! :D

I didn't say this station doesn't have a beach! I said that I'm not going to reveal one way or the other...

...until now. There is at least one sea/river -facing beach within 25 miles of this station, but not within one mile.

No :D

I will refine my previous marginal clue(s). There is at least one coastal beach within 25 miles of this station, but not within one.

So something like Haywards Heath would work (not correct though), but Brighton would not.

Not Inverness. All of my stations are English or Welsh. And not any other station whose town name ends in "ness" either (i.e. Skegness, for IanPT, among others).

I will say that if I showed you all the whole picture this would not last very long.

No.

The clue after this will be the total number of routes leading from this station, but for now I shall say that at least one of these (there may only be one! - as stated, that's the next clue) is electrified. (As are Norwich and Diss, although I believe Diss is more than 25 miles from the sea; if it isn't, it's too close to fit such a clue given I'm not overly familiar with the area.)

It's a pain, that! I know all too well; number of times I've wanted to say "Nay." on its own...!

This station is on a junction between two routes merging into one. Both routes are electrified.

The next clue will be reveal its approximate location.

As stated, this station is fairly close to the coast; specifically, the coast between Bangor and Barrow (and not the long way via Brighton etc either).

So if you think you know the answer, and it isn't within 25 miles of Bangor or Barrow or any point on the coast (via Prestatyn) between the two, don't bother. It won't be correct.
