Guess the Station...

Geographically speaking, Taylor's guess was the best. But given that his station is in a huge expanse between the various London guesses and Brockenhurst (and Didcot), that isn't saying much. And that's all you're getting for a clue at the moment.

I think it's a two-platformed station, not an island. I agree it is Southern but not so certain on the Western division part. Christchurch?

I did Wokingham quite recently remember? This does not look that similar to Wokingham.

However, of the latest round of guesses, MT is again the nearest. Whether Wokingham is closer to this station than Frimley though, I am not going to say.

Ash Vale keeps popping into my mind but I am far from confident that there is a footbridge at the vale.

Nevertheless I put forward Ash Vale as my next offering.

OK; clue time.

The station is somewhere in the physical area defined as "Basingstoke - Reading - Sunningdale - Woking - Alton - Basingstoke" (i.e. find a road map and look at places in that area; including the lines around the edge such as BSK - RDG [which is obviously wrong because that's FGW]).

I am, it looked so unfamilliar I figured it must be on a line I haven't done for years which is why Aldershot to Ascot came into my head.

Open floor folks!
