Two Trainload coal locos and the Intercity charter rake of mark 1s suggests early 1990s, as does the style of Pathfinder headboard. The headboard on a loco with taillights lit, with no orange men visible suggests it's top n tail. Judging by the fact that your taking a phot, and the people on the opposite platform also look like tour participants, I'd say it was during a reversal, so likely to be a junction station.
The electrification has the WCML feel to it. There are two curved platforms.

Wilmslow, Styal platforms?

I guessed!

I apologise for the delay in replying, but my PC was attacked by viruses when I tried to get a new photo. I've restored the system, but I don't want to run anymore risks, so therefore..

No way! I'm a married man!

I was going to do Watton-On-Stone, but the second I clicked on the picture, my PC was attacked. AVG has just confirmed it was that website that sent the viruses.
