Never been to Dovey Junction, and the costs - and line speed - out there are really rather poor! The cheapest way I have found to do Bath to that area is - well, actually, if I post it someone at ATOC may not take too kindly to it and withdraw it, so I'll keep quiet. PM me if you want to find out what it is. My housemate and I were looking at going to Aberdovey for a weekend soon, but cannot see the point when the shortest one-way journey time is 4:38 (OK for me; not for her)...
