I'm in the middle of moving to Feltham, and I'm route learning there next week!


the unit is not an HC variant thus the location is more than likely not on the Windsor side of Waterloo, and it has a footbridge. Other than that I am clueless.

Ivo, did you learn nothing yesterday. HC units are the 450 5xx series and they generally work the suburban trains nearer to London. They can be identified by the "HC" next to the number.

HC=High Capacity. First class removed, some standard seats removed, extra grab handles provided to enable more standees. Generally confined to the Windsor side but sometimes they stray on to the mainline.

Obviously I have seen HC, come to think of it, so that would explain a lot.
