I'll move away from North Wales. Hereford (Hereford-Padd, Cardiff-Manchester, Hereford-Brum, no services to Liverpool or Leeds).

Next clue: Each of the three services (to London, Birmingham and Manchester) is operated by a different TOC, and there are no other TOCs present.

...only this isn't necessary, because Clagmonster has finally provided us all with the correct answer. The station is indeed Hereford. Look at the whole picture, and witness the benefits (and evils!) of cropping. And feel free to wave at Gerald whilst doing so, if you please.

Excellent :)

I know he's not around, but this is one to 4SRKT's taste. A Northern 142! Might just get him in a pro-Ivo mood for Llanelli in the early afternoon, although I do of course doubt that he will see this...

I don't particularly appreciate being given an answer at this time, when I'm having one final check before bed, but oh well...

BPN is correct.

I would rule out Gravesend as it has four tracks between its two platforms.
Please confirm that we are on the "right track" to think of a suburban station in the South East London suburbs/North West Kent area.
The architecture looks as if the road bridge and platform was built in the 1930s style.
