BOA is right.

Next time it is my turn, which (allowing for today being my birthday, visiting my father tomorrow and NWM on Saturday) could well be Sunday or later, I will be using a picture that is not mine - but one that another member took, which I have been asked by the same person to use...

A Trainload Metals loco puts the photo in the early '90s and I doubt that such locos would make it to the north of Scotland, certainly to the Far North or West Highland as they probably wouldn't have RETB. Lack of a headboard suggests a service train, so we are most likely looking in the North-West of England or North Wales, although I thought that at that time most services were 31s. Poulton-le-Fylde?

This is the Blackpool - Manchester "Club" train which was booked for Class 37 traction normally Tinsley Class 37/4 which was unavailable on this day and 37381 was provided.

Pictured at Poulton - le - Fylde.

A fast car move was required to get to this.

Oops, I was already right. Picture on the way. May I ask, what would the board's view be on closed stations being included (this won't be the upcoming one, but one I may consider in the future.
