This clue is a bit convoluted but I'm trying to be accurate.

As previously mentioned, this is a station that was closed and then reopened. The neighbouring existing station on one side also was closed then reopened, but the existing station on the side has never been closed.

Well, a final clue which will really narrow it down.

The station was originally on a Joint Line operated by two pre-grouping companies.
