In which case, we’re back to the open floor condition, as although I have a few pics that I could post, I’m just off ter ther pub for a couple of relaxing pints after a day dealing with some particularly recalcitrant Excel spreadsheets, so I won’t be around for a couple of hours.

Sorry for finishing that one off so fast! It’s a very nice shot by the way, IMO.

Okey-doke then; hopefully this one'll be a bit harder than some of my other recent offerings (nothing really worthwhile since Grays)...

Another night shot, only a bit clearer this time - but also a bit more close-up...

I hope you like it being such a small picture; it makes it harder to make out the intimate details!

I'm going to guess something like Springburn?

No and No.

Sonic: Springburn is out of range based on where I've done railway photography. This post from very early on Sunday morning should give you a general idea of where my pictures are likely to have come from, and Scotland is nowhere to be seen... :(

By the way, anyone got any idea what the triangle is for?

On the assumption that you mean Victoria, because c2c don't run 321s (and even when they ***apparently*** [I never saw one] did, only to Grays), it, er, is.

I was enjoying all those northern guesses; they were dragging it out :(

It looks like the signal info board says 'SOT' (Stoke PSB), so my guess is Barlaston, Stoke controls parts of the 'true' WCML too.
