They have bulit a new footbridge since I last visited. There used to be a shed like waiting room on the Helensburgh end of the middle platform. Me and my mate we in there freezing in the middle of winter near midnight waiting for the Fort Bill sleeper. you had to keep pressing the button to keep the heater on. We also kept getting visits from the local drunks.

All gone now though to make way for the footbridge.

RU sure? Are those flats in the V then? There's some very like them adjacent to the down platform on the Singer line?

Having said that though, there are some flats very like those everywhere in Scotland.

Remember the Yoker line goes under the Singer line just after Dalmuir station and bears to the south east. Criss crossing if you like.

That's what I mean. If the picture is taken from the Glasgow via Yoker platform (with the bay platform behind), then the Glasgow via Singer platform must be behind the flats.

The Singer line is just over the other side of the structure in the foreground and the portacabins, then it is the flats.

Apparently this is difficult

Two short platforms?
Leafy area?
Very little furniture?
No Wires?

Probably Scottish then :?

I shall start the bidding with Ardlui. Not that I know whether it is feasible or not.

And when did I last get two in one night?!

Have (successfully?) kicked self; right foot now hurts. (135 minutes later; I forgot to kick myself )

Oviously its a FGW hire unit, so Bath!

Why is it "obviously" a hire-in? I've probably taken more ATW shots than other TOC (ironic given my disdain of Arriva in general )! Not to mention that this shot was one of the first I took - over a year ago!

You are right though. It is a hire-in. And it is Bath Spa as well. I did say I would do it eventually...

By the way, what was your Brizzle one from the other night?

(And note the 159 in the background; two trains here together but no FGW livery in sight?)

The usual suspects are still here wasting our lives playing this game waiting for the BBC to put someting decent on the telly....

Ah, only another seven hours. Then we can put the F1 on again, at 0600 (seven hours because 0100-0200 doesn't exist ). I have the opening theme stuck in my head...
