IC trains have never at Lostock to my knowledge.

You are the nearest so far though.

Slight clarification. I think this location disappeared from the IC network prior to privatisation in 1995. It was not VT as late as 2002/3. It may have just gone post 1995 but I think it was before.

It is the 15:10 Edinburgh to Liverpool departing St Helen's.

I can't remember if these trains made it to privatisation. I do remember them operating as 158s for a while.

Windsor and Eton Central?

I know that isn't brighton! (i've been there enough times to know that), and it looks a little small for a major airport (Gatwick).

Blackpool North? (probably wrong!)

I travelled on one in late 1999/early 2000 from Lancaster to Lime Street, operated by a 158.

Hey guys :)

Wouldn't be Pompey would it? Harbour specifically?

N.B.: I still can't find either of my camera cables, so unless/until I say otherwise, open floor every time I win. I would like to do the first one of said open floor though; got a half-decent shot for you all to try. In other words, the next time I call one right, or steal an open floor, I'm doing it; after that, open floor until I am able to participate properly.

Nobody is yet correct.

Most of you are in the right area of the country though.

This transport interchange station only has one platform in use.

IC trains used to pass through Lostock when they were diverting over the S&C

I was thinking of stopping not passing. The Lostock was non-specific. There are three of them I was thinking Parkway you were thinking Hall. It did not matter as none of them were correct in this case.

Current Guess: Brockley Whins

Taking up the open floor offer (and particularly liking TB's St Helens shot - that was my first thought but a few now-demolished buildings threw me!)

Have a go at this (continuing my Northern 156 series :) )

-- may be away from the computer for a bit, so if there's a consensus, or if you're sure you've got the correct answer, feel free to move on. I suspect it'll go first guess :)
