We have a winner.

Correct Answer 37411 was on the other end of the train.

I was curious why the McRat was working wrong line.....

Should have got that one quicker. I once spent a long time at Appleby station when a CK on the 07:38 Hull > Carlisle got a hot axlebox and had to be removed there. The operation to extract it from the middle of the rake and for the 31s to shunt it out of the way towards the Warcop line took ages and we missed our DMU connection at Carlisle on to Ravenglass <(

I can't remember if I've used this one before. Hopefully not.

Coleraine?

I seriously have no idea when it comes to NIR. No matter how much you've helped me over the last year, Shipley (:D)...

Dundalk is correct. The 20:10 Dundalk > Bangor and the only booked DEMU cross-border working at that time (1991). It was a beautiful evening and I rode in the DMBS with the windows open all the way through South Armagh. Rail travel has never got much better than that.
