It does look like a replaced surface or one put on top of the original. I would go for Gatwick but surely not with such a slim platform.

I may be very very wrong, but, Worthing? I can't really think of a station that has recently been rebuilt, it is probably fairly obvious.

Rochester is much colder ( probably literally in this weather! ). You are going in completely the wrong direction - but your distance from London is getting closer to how far out you should be.


Worthing is not correct, but it is now the warmest guess by a long way. Still need to go further.

Perhaps it's time for a clue: We have already noted, and it is obvious from the picture, that the platform in question was rebuilt recently. It wasn't the only platform rebuilt at the same time...
