Where is IPT anyway? There's no point in taking the **** out of him if he's not here to enjoy it.

He's offline chaps. Good. I thought he was angrily responding to me in the campaign to staff the major transport and crime centre that is Rugeley Trent Valley.

I'm not very familiar with Eaglescliffe, but from that angle at Mirfield you can see the town clearly to the right, so I'm pretty sure it's Eaglescliffe.

Is he? That's a shame. He's probably drooling over pictures of Black Fives or something, while we more sophisticated diesel cranks chill out over a relaxing beer or something.

I have a lovely photo of 44932 lined up specially for him as well.

More importantly where is our Yorkshire friend to confirm the answer.

I have just realised there was a question directed at me in the post of the picture. Not sure where the 37 was heading south more than likely off to Gateshead (as it was still open at the time) or Tyne Yard.

Ta for the info about the 37, shame Morpeth doesn't see much apart from 66s these days.

OK, try this. Seeing as the thread has at times descended to the bizarre, this can be seen as part of that sub-genre. Before anyone gets too indignant, IMHO there is a proper answer to this, and it's not '4SRKT's spare room'.

Rail Riders' World it was called. There's still a model railway in the old tearoom, but it's called something else now.

I guess the current picture is (more than) a little unfair! A clue, the station is made wholly of aluminium, although clearly as Death says built to represent a station made of concrete to a 1930s design, which would have been pretty contemporary when the model was made.

It's certainly in a messy room! It's in the spare room in my house, where I set it up purely to take the shot.

I'll admit this is a bit ridiculous, but it is not just *any* model railway platform, and such is the range of expertise on here that there might just be someone with the right knowledge and lateral thinking to get it. If nobody's got it by quarter to nine I'll give the answer.
