It was a SWT organised farewell tour held in February 2007. Or was it January?

You were the only person who I reckon would get this with ease, don't tell me you were on that final run?!

Sadly I wasn't on it, but it didn't look like any normal SWT station served by 442s and the fact it was 2412 gave it away a bit.

Floor is open.

Feb 3rd 2007. It was a good day, I took 2412 up from Southampton then all around the suburbs on the tour and followed it up by taking 2410 on the last 442 run from Waterloo to Southampton.

Neither Selby nor Dawlish.

(heading out for 20 mins or so- might give a clue or two on my return if noone's got it yet!)

Neither Dawlish Warren nor Exeter St Thomas.

Right, time for a minor clue or two...

It's not by the seaside.
It has at least one train an hour to/from a London terminal.

High Wycombe's the closest so far.

Was hoping the roof of the station building/awning would give the line away... ;)

Sorry but that looks nothing like Warwick Parkway

Please don't have a go, I'm not well this morning. No sleep, nasty horrible cough, my left arm won't stop tingling and add on a bit of the old brown rain, I'm going to have a great day!

Well if it's not on the Chiltern Mainline, it must be on the Snow Hill Lines.

It isn't Tyseley, it isn't Dorridge, it isn't Warwick Parkway or Lapworth and it certainly isn't Snow Hill or Moor Street so, process of elimination coupled with the fact that I don't have a clue, Acocks Green
