Perhaps, but at least you a correct idiot.:D

Next clue would have been that it is in the zones with a racecourse within five miles. I worked in the ticket office at Hampton for a few years and have very fond memories of that station.;)

It shows that I've never been to Hampton doesn't it? And yet, I have done the Kingston loop. Whoops.

Anyhow, here is my first legitimate one (it's taken long enough). I've left the blind visible because it says "Sorry Not in Service", so I didn't see any point in wiping it. The quality isn't great; it was taken at about 20:00 and without flash.

And sorry it took so long. It's been a while since I used Picture Manager last. I didn't need to for the SVB one.

I had to think where Crewkerne was for a minute

Sorry, but no.

What I will say is this: It gave me a right jump when it blasted its horn as it came into the station (from the other end)!

Still incorrect. I'll give y'all until about 10pm, then I'll throw in a clue. Until then, there's pizza to be had :D

All right then, time for a clue.

This station is in the south-western quarter of England, but is *not* currently served by 159s. (So why it was there is beyond me.)

Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you all. I'm afraid that the correct answer is still out there. I shall reveal another (somewhat useless) clue; the station has only one word in its name.

Still not right, although by distance not too far off. I can't see this one lasting that much longer to be honest.

Keep trying. It has a better service than Melksham (although that saying very much...!).

I'll give another clue. Every train through the station calls here.

I was thinking if it wasn't Stroud it would have to be Stonehouse rather than Kemble, but I think it's Stroud.

No. It's south of Gloucestershire.

EDIT: Ooh. I just noticed something. This post took the forum total to 500,000. Not bad :D

How about if I just type the index from the Baker's Bible in here? Sure, it'll be a very long and quite tedious post, but the answer will be in it somewhere.

No need.

I might have known it would be you to spoil the fun :D

Precisely 24 hours after I won the right to set this challenge, 4SRKT has the correct answer. It is indeed Frome; the whole picture (which kinda gives it away) is attached to this message.

And no, I don't know what a 159 was doing in Frome either. It's not as though SWT go there on diversion.
