Yes I knew it was too easy. :)

Aha, thanks! The thing that gave it away was the line of metal barrier things - don't think I've ever seen them anywhere else. ;)

Where is this lovely mural?

This may prove to be extremely easy, if you know what the mural depicts. Good luck!

Edit: I think it might actually be a photograph!

Sorry. Not Plumley.

As no one has yet identified the location, here is another photo of the same station, looking in the other direction.

Additional clue, posted 0715, 7/9/20: the station was operated by a pre-1948 railway company which was distinct from the "Big 4".

As the correct answer has not yet been supplied, here is an additional clue:

The station was operated by a pre-1948 railway company which was distinct from the "Big 4".

Really struggling with this one! Doesn't help that I have only extremely limited knowledge of the railway companies pre-nationalisation, haha. :)

I shall have a guess at... Padgate?
Sorry. Not Padgate.

However, I can confirm that it is, like all the guesses so far, an ex-CLC station, and its appearance has hardly changed since the days when the motive power was provided by ex-GCR locomotives.

Ashley is correct.

Here is a full photo, which I took (along with the other picture) last BH Monday. I have been surprised at how long it has taken (nearly 3 days) for the correct answer to be provided, given that both pictures included overbridges and there was a clue from my location - Ashley station is only about 3 miles from my residence.

Well done. Over to you.
