For a hint I can say that footbridge was removed around forty years ago and the trackwork seen has been remodelled in fairly recent times.

Not anywhere in Manchester or Glasgow.

I don't know if there ever was a Glasgow paper called the Sunday Citizen, but the one being advertised was a national paper that existed in the 1960s.
