The design of the old Victorian bridge appears to be London and South Western Railway.
The roadway is narrow without a pavement so suggests outer London.
Other possibilities are
The white patch on the brickwork of the bridge behind the PERTIS machine could have been painted for signal sighting.

No this was never a London South Western Railway station. Also since this photo was taken the PERTIS has been replaced with a card only Scheidt & Bachmann ST20 TVM.
