Correct. photographed on Wed. 2nd November

I thought it would be easy with so many clues
"Southern Railway" green on lampposts.
Non- electrified which meant only two SR operated lines to choose from Hurst Green to Uckfield line or Ashford-Ore.
Staggered platforms which was favoured by the South Eastern Railway therefore Ashford-Ore built by S.E.R. seemed likely.
Ashford-Ore (exclusive) has only 3 stations with two platforms.
Rye has level crossing both ends
Appledore has level crossing one end and goes double to single track the other end.

Cool. Yeah it looked familiar and the absence of the third rail narrowed it down no end for me.

Looks like original Great Western Railway "spear" fencing in the background.

I propose you resubmit another as I cannot see a station (or part of) in this picture.

The image was taken from the station platform itself and a train is in the photograph, but I will accept your proposition. The station was west Ealing.
