I'm wondering if those lights are Electrostar lights... not that I'm good at spotting that sort of thing.

The lampost colour is wrong, but... Lingfield?

Getting closer but not Aylesford nor anywhere else on the Medway Valley.

I think it's a class 375 interior, not a 377, on account of the rounded lights in the middle.

There's a brick wall on the north ( down ) platform at the country end at Marden isn't there?

I think I've seen that wall at the far end of a platform in a journey in Kent. My mind keeps gravitating to the coast, but I can't put my finger on it. Am I way off?

Your thinking is correct but this place isn't on the coast. You probably passed it on the way to the coast....

There were a fair number of goods yards on the Maidstone East line, so I wonder if that if a good place to look.

Borough Green and Wrotham?
