Thanks, it's those distinctive platform lights that gave me the clue, I was behind 37402 back in the summer when we called and it reminded me of a previous trip I made to Barrow back in the early 90's this time behind 31410 Granada Telethon and I think they were newly installed then.

Anyway enough of my ramblings, have a look at this...

Looks a bit like Cromford to me; the cropping seems to be done in a way to disguise that it is single track?

It was cropped that way to hide the obvious destination blind on the rear of the unit, and on the platform to the left were my wife and daughter as we had just detrained, it's actually double track at that location Peter.
I'm pretty sure that's a Northern 150 in the shot

The key is, of course, the identity of the person whose bust is shown, which I don't know!
