Right, where is this 450? I will say that this was a Saturday - not that that will help identify the station.

Sorry Brian! I was telling the truth that it was a Saturday, but what I didn't add was that the 450 was a vice for the booked Slug that day... Pure chance as well; I was just nipping up to Wimbledon to pick up some photos and the 450 turned up...:D

I did not recognise Epsom..:( :oops:
The trees/vegetation have grown up since I was last there. In the Epsom and Dorking areas of Surrey Network Rail could be spraying the lineside with fertiliser rather than weedkiller.?

I think it's somewhere on the Hounslow Loop; it's certainly not Ewell West as the bridge there is an arch and the platforms continue under it; it's not Dorking as that has 3 platforms, it's not anywhere else on the Epsom / Chessington lines...

A total guess, I'll suggest Isleworth to start with.

All incorrect so far, right TOC though. It's a route I sign or have signed so it's not west of Poole, or on the Epsom or Bagshot lines.

Wow, that was unexpected. Clearly this year's interrail journey using that route paid off! ;)
