After 12 days, I think we may need a little more help on this one
Not there either. We aren't in Hampshire.
Neither, it's not in Dorset.
Sorry, not in Berkshire either.
It's not a Northern station. Just to confirm it is an SWT station.
None of these, it's not in Surrey...we're in the zones...

Worcester Park?

( Yes, it's technically Surrey... but it is within the zones... )

You're the closest yet...! The Surrey issue might be confusing, as like Worcester Park the answer was traditionally in Surrey but is formally part of Greater London these days.

OK... here we are... shouldn't be too difficult; there's obviously only one probable route but you won't get any clues from the file name... ;)

Those are the Thameslink incarnation of the Ironing-Board Expresses ;) So I'm going with Hassocks! :D

If my memory of the Thameslink route is correct then could it be Burgess Hill?

Hassocks is correct...

Either:

1) You know the station very well and could recognise it just from that little bit of platform and the trees or:

2) You follow me on Twitter and guessed it because I've been posting landscapes from a walk on the South Downs from Hassocks on Saturday, or:

3) That was a lucky start to a "list everything on the line" attempt at the answer.

Just to satisfy my curiosity - which is it?

Incidentally... we haven't had an update for a while to the list of stations yet to appear on the thread, but I believe Hassocks has not previously been pictured on it...???

starmill is unavailable to post at the moment and leaves it to open floor

Re your curiosity, he's asked me to post this (which is a bit bitty but gives you an idea)
Thameslink service, no OHLE, has trees which all narrowed it down some of the stations it couldn't be (and could only be a station between Three Bridges and Preston Park inclusive) Recently repainted yellow line was the biggest clue

This was the first appearance of Hassocks (although not much of it appeared!) so by my count there are presently 1069 stations yet to appear on this thread.

Another trickle of new stations opening in a months time though - keeping track of them is surprisingly tricky. I count 2548 eligible GB stations at present, for reference.

So, we're about 58% the way through now... Would you be able to provide a link to the updated list of what hasn't been on here? Might inspire / encourage a few people...?

Would you have got it in an instant like you usually do?
