I hope this picture from yesteryear is allowable; I don't think it breaks the rules. The station is still operational.

After studying the canopies my initial thoughts that it is a station built by either-
London & South Western Railway
or London & North Western Railway.

I am still thinking about it...!

No, keep trying ;)

I seem to have come to this thread in its dying days, which is a shame as it's quite a fun game. (Not that I can get any, mind. I had to wait for an open floor before posting my first pic  )

I think the issue is more that the picture is an old one rather than a current one. As it's still in use, I'd suggest cropping a pic of it from Wiki (or similar) and posting that as a further clue and you might get a few more responses.

All the evidence in the past says the thread is still just as alive as it always has been, except when there is a hard picture without adequate hints. People aren't as willing to guess blindly as they used to be.

Be that Weybourne? Open floor if correct. I think the answer is no, but it's worth a try! If it is, it's interesting to see how things have changed!!

For future reference, the rules indicate, but do not state explicitly, that the station should be an NR station or one in NI.

No. It's closer to Royston than Grantham.

It feels very different today... I think the only clue in the end for me was the track layout. (and the TOC!)

Royston would still be closer to my picture than any of the stations guessed so far.
