Stoke On Trent?

So that lasted less than two minutes :(

I was hoping that most people on here would choose to wait on the platform rather than in the waiting room... I'd decided that standing around Stoke station for the best part of two hours waiting for the last all-stopper to Manchester didn't appeal to me.

I didn't recognise the picture but the painting is clearly a Pendo and the station looked like SOT.:D

Open floor chaps.

Better than going out of the station, though!

If the weather is OK, standing on the platforms can even be OK...otherwise, it can be a bit of a wind tunnel!

I am confident that this is Ascot, during a recent period of disruption.
Just been trying to work out when it was taken..

My calculations are-
platform 2 is for Waterloo (up slow)
Platform 3 is for Guildford (down slow)
It leaves platform 1 as the Chertsey line bay platform

Well done Brian, the picture was taken on Platform 2 on Sunday during the engineering works, I must say the people on the station were very friendly to me with my camera.

A picture showing the board shown.

Where is this then?

N.B.: The black thing to the right is part of station infrastructure.

Well, it's closer than Tyndrum Lower...

As ever on this game, if I haven't been there, I won't use it, as all GtS photos I use are mine. See here for help.
