I can see why you went with that. :)

It's not in the wrong part of the country, but isn't that close.

Spot on there Paul. I was quietly hoping you wouldn't be around for this one. :)

Here's the full pic, although it doesn't show much more.

Why ridiculous?
It could be anywhere!

As it happens, it is Oxted, taken by me only about 9 hours ago!

It had to be done :P and I was waiting for the Uckfield service to shunt in

Given the graduated rail shininess, it is clearly a bay, and one that isn't used that often, at least not by trains of any decent length. Oxted does fit that description. However, just in case it isn't, I'll go for West Croydo.

Uckfield trains were not enjoying themselves today, they really do not like the heat.

West Croydon bay is well used. and a bit more built up than that. :) The Oxted Bay has just been relaid, hence the rustiness.

I wondered whether long trains were a rarity ito the bay at West Croydon. I also thought that its use had tapered off now there is the turnback siding, I am pleased that you report otherwise as it is required track.

We are on the South Central division. West Croydon?

Tulse Hill, middle staircase from the subway?

Floor open if it is. Literally!
I may well leave myself with egg on my face here, but I suspect the highest numbered platform up the stairs is 2. Whether platform 1 is also up there remains to be seen.
