Yep its Milton Keynes Central from 2004 before platform 6 was built , the photo was taken from Platform 4 pointing towards the north with p5 on the left

I thought it may be a bif a trick before the new platform was built (interesting to see how it was) though I wasn't entirely confident of it.

Also, the "moo" filename may have been oddly apt as well.....

It is obviously AC electrified. The D sign I suspect is telling passengers where to wait for coach D, so places it on an Intercity route served by fixed formation trains which are not reversed. The blue fence looks like it may have been GNER, it certainly seems more likely to be ECML than WCML (the obviouse two candidates).

For Ivo, yes you were there when I took the photo (sat opposite in fact) but I don't think you saw me taking the pic as we passed through at a large number of mph :P

I thought I recognised it. So how the Hell did I come up with the Highland Main Line when it is clearly AC? As soon as clagmonster said it was clearly AC though, I knew where it was straight away. I believe I was looking up accidents at the time (thinking about Morpeth) which is why I didn't notice.

We're on the South Central division, judging by the paintwork on the pole for the DOO mirror. It seems to have a coastal feel, though I didn't realise any of the Coastway services were DOO (though it is perfectly plausible, the units are equipped to manage it). I'll trust said instinct and go for West Worthing.
