Compare these two Gourock 1989 (my last visit) and Gourock 2012. These are in the same platform the 2012 version is a little further down.

Presumably the needed planning consent, which would be hard to get if there was listing. Unless there was severe accidental structural damage at some stage. I wouldn't have had much of a clue to get it.
