I've seen much harder entries with a tiny bit of blurred platform (I don't like those entries), with this photo there are many clues; dilapidated footbridge, staggered platform, old station building, rural setting & hills in the background. The lack of electrification and lamppost colour rule certain places out. I won't comment on private 'MSN' conversations.

East Garforth opened in 1987, this station is rather older than that. Also East Garforth does not have staggered platforms.

As I said above, I am not going to discuss a private conversation via MSN/PM/whatever on a public forum, however I can assure you it is not "pointless" to try, where is your guess?

Hmm, it's obviously Northern hence the style of waiting shelter and the poster, it's in a rural area, it has a bag/bin which is against GMPTE policy so it rules out Greater Manchester, the architecture of the building suggests Midland so I'm guessing it's on the S&C or somewhere near Sheffield.
